I launched out of J St. in Chula Vista which is south of SDGE. Water temp was as high as 80 degrees on my finder...I was fishing in water around 10' in depth about a mile and a half off shore. The plastic was a twin tail cheapy bought from Walmart, around 3" in length with a 3/8 oz lead head. Water clarity was poor and there was a fairly strong breeze. Incoming tide. I hope this helps...

The back of the bay is a good place to go for bonefish. Besides artificials they also like goast shrimp which you can pump out of mission bay. Fun catch on light tackle. They are pretty fanatic dart around a lot when you get them close. Good times! thanks for the report.
