Isn't there a small tray under the rod pod hatch that you can put pliers and what not in? I'd go with stuff sacks suspended to either side of the rod pod hatch. I wouldn't want to build bulkheads with pool noodles because you'd loose the benefits of the rod pod for underdeck rod storage.

I plan to make a new rodpod cover that looks like the 2011 Angler trident.

You can also goop down some pad eyes and run bungee between them to lock some of your stuff down. I use a nonslip material (looks like neoprene mesh) in the area of my Rod Pod that keeps things pretty well in place barring major bumps.

I found a bag that I got from Sport Fishing magazine - I plan to use that to store small tackle boxes, then run a string from it to where the battery bag straps to, then I can open the hatch and grab it. Yes, the Trident has a rod-pod with a tray, which is good for small things, but not big enough to hold tackle boxes.

stowing stuff
Here is what I do... I tie off cord/rope to the nearest scuppers, and put caribbeener(spelling) (ie; quick clips) through the cord...
Everything I stow gets clipped off to the caribeeners.... cowboybill ![]() |

I use that non slip liner stuff in my revo. Keeps all my small plano boxes from moving around.

I like this idea and Ed's post with the clips goop'ed in place - need to get a pump and put it in place just like the pic. Thanks everyone - this has been very helpful.
