"A" fishing Report 9/23/10

So, it's not about size huh.....

Got to LJ shores early, in the dark. Parked on the beach, drank my coffee and listened to the surf. Sounded pretty loud Oh well, I took the day off to fish, so what the hell.

Darn, soldered some wires on my bait pump last night, must still be sitting on the work bench. Will have to do without.

Watched the surf, waded in to thigh high, jumped on and away we go. I threw everything I had at the ocean and did not bring home my dinner. Flyline mac, squid, bottom, middle, outside the kelp, inside the kelp... tried it all over 7 hours.

Did manage to catch 5 of these monster guys:

And 3 of these guys:

Size: 147.9 KB

And watched a whole bunch of these guys having fun doin some jumping, and I think they were watching me.

I was out on Wednesday and it was ghostly out there. I did hear some one yell like they caught a toad. No bait at all to be found, put some jigs in the canyon, man that thing is deep 970 feet on the sounder, crazy. Nothing there but when I came in the waves were picking up and I was told someone got a 20 lb YT. Congrads to you!
