Got a late launch around 7:30, heard the chatter of fish being caught on the radio while I was making bait. Paddled out to see most people were heading in. Stuck it out til 12:00 por nada! Got dumped on the landing. Surf was small so I wasn't concerned, but before I landed I saw alot of big sharks cruising 20 yards off shore. Zoned out trying to figure out what they were, next thing I know I'm rolling! It was cool though, did'nt lose anything, and the water felt good after the paddle in. Guess they turned out to be leopards. Second time I've dumped from paying attention to things other than the water! Did'nt get totally skunked, caught this fat guy while making bait
Not what I was lookin for though. Next trip I'm taking Gabes advice and leaving the night before and sleep in my truck to get an early start. We just don't get them damn yellers up here in the L.A. area like you guys!
