I catch them right north of the pair when halibut fishing. Usually it is when I sit in place too long with my live/dead mac on the bottom. I personally don't like catching them, would rather hook a halibut . Plus I usually have to change out my rig once I get them to the boat.

So I guess my advise is if you want to catch one, sit in place and sink your bait to the bottom and wait.
