It was my first time seeing how fast a kayak can sink... Kinda, NO it did Scare me. All I have is a huge long sponge made for drying out the kayak. I am going to hook up a bilge system now... Dedicated electric with its own battery.

Glad to help and glad everyone made it home safely. Was a learning trip for me too...gonna rig up a bilge system and running lights. Yeah...Nikko was the one that was hooked up in the early AM. Saw him and we talked a bit after my landing. slow trolled 60-110 ft...no bites. Next time. Keep me posted on Cabrillo.

It was nice talking to some other kayakers. My friend ended hooking something big but lost it to kelp. I hook 3-4 dogs an came in by 11. Hope to be out there again soon..
