Well to be fair that "blue one" was the original design with the fish hold and I cut out an access hatch that may have dipped below the water line with a full load

I am a big fan of my newest model X-13, no rivets to seep water, better bow seal, hinged center hatch, great paddling kayak and handles very well in the surf.

Check out around the 100 mark, that is me in the center in my X 13. Dry hull all that wild weekend.

thanks iceman, im new to kayak fishing really like fishing the bays in sd but want to try n venture out in la jolla. im going to try it at oex along with some others but just wanted to know how it handled in la jolla and thru the surf in case i wanted to go out there.

hell, it was like being on a lake. gentle breeze blowing, nice little paddle in the afternoon.
