ok Rob,
no matter how close to the camera that sandie will not be any bigger for another few years ![]() we had a pretty good day up in Refugio, rock fish and lingcod one legal but the whales were in rare form, coming within arms length to the yaks, for some pics, I have never been that close to them in a yak, didn't know whether to be scared (of being flipped) or excited to be so close, literally could have petted a juvinal while the adult was about 20 ft away, the juvinal whale swam under me, we had approx 15 ft visability turned on its side and looked me in the eye, very cool, probably a once in a life time deal, hopefully one of the guys I was with will send me some pics. Being flipped, I took care of that on my own on the landing, I had a big yard sale, didn't lose anything except my pride, beach full of people... ![]() |
