when the corvina faded out of the sea I was pretty bummed because I loved that desolate empty place. I got in right at the end of that amazing fishery and fished of a big windsurfing board with a milk crate on the front. First the mullet then sargo, croaker, and then the vinas died out. Glad the good old tilapia are still around. Those are a fun sports fish, hard fight, good looking, and super tastey. And Tinhman, it's just out the 8 freeway on the way to El Centro. Big ass salty lake, 38 miles long and 8-12 miles wide. Can't miss it. Mike
