thanks for this report; i have no problem to NOT shop at WALMART!!!!
this really sucks that these big corps. contribute so much money to these eco terrorist bull chit. makes one think, do they really know what these organizations are really doing or are they being fam boozalid by these hired "eco image consultants" either way it is very disappointing to hear these things and to know that we have a bigger hill to climb to save our oceans. |

I seriously doubt the owners of Walmart have a clue as to what these organizations are really doing. Nor do I think they really care. It's all just a publicity thing to look good. It's pretty sad when an organization such as WalMart has so little real knowlege of what it is they are supporting and and how it effects the very people that shop at their stores. It just shows how separated the ones who are making the decisions are from everyday people.

Great now the MLPA may just have enough money for a few Blackman's 51' sportfisher's so they can keep tabs on us. Maybe they will start hiring some new cute clipboard girls to check me in at the launch.

I don't understand...
OK, no more shiny chrome sinkers or cheap watershoes from Walmart for me. Or anything else...
But, I don't understand how companies like Berkley, Mustad, Daiwa, Shakespere, Attwood, etc., etc., can even think about selling to Walmart at this stage of the game... Is this just another example of "profits above all else" and the ability to milk it to the end? If they weren't a bunch of man-ginas they would refuse to do any more business with Wally...
