When Shakespeare kayaks first appeared, it was due to a partnership with Emotion, a company that's much better known in the Southeast. Other than rigging and badging, the hulls are probably still identical. Reviews should be much easier to find under the original name.

Pros and cons depend on what you have in mind. Small, flat water and ease of transport and storage - yes. For La Jolla or other open water conditions - get a longer yak.
