Bad Girl....

I was a bad girl.......

I ditched work yesterday......

But it was soooooooo worth it!!!!!!!!!!

I went with my two favorite fishing partners.....

My dad

and my uncle, who caught the biggest sand bass I've ever seen.......

10#

It was sooooooo worth it, and it was the best day ever......

I always do well when I fish with them.....

She weighed 30#. My personal best! Not only did I get two in one day, but I landed my biggest too!

Signed,

Happy girl!

Nice day Janine!
Played hookie from work, then hooky with the halibuts.
Doing with your two favorite people just ups the awesome factor of it all.
Congrats on the PB!

Major props on a huge Hali. That 30 pounder is bigger than most people will ever catch.

Major props on taking Dad out for a day of fishing, made your day and his!

My dad is the reason I love fishing so much. I can't think of many people I would rather spend the day with.

Keep up the bad girl attitude - you are obviously very good at being bad! Nothing better then sharing that experience with the family and a PR hali to boot! Thanks for the report.

Yes it was/is an "awesome hali"! If you are catching shorts, it's only a matter of time till you catch the legal. If you are catching shorts, then you know what you are doing as far as what the bites feel like etc... that is half the battle with 'buts. I had been coming off a huge skunk that lasted about 3 trips . I needed that one! Now if I could only do that on my yak....
