A. It's not your fish until it is in the boat (or kayak).
B. It's not important what the animals are called, they eat fish.
C. They are quick learners, feed them once and they will catch on.
D. It's a good idea to not encourage them to look at kayaks (or boats) as sources for food.
E. They can get aggressive, and they are bigger then you.

Whoops, won't feed the seals again guys! We caught a smaller bonito, it was bleeding and threw it back, instantly a seal zipped over and caught it, so it was a semi-intentional feeding.

Anyways, It was a great time. 2nd Time kayak fishing - ever.

Yes it is a 2011 hobie outfitter.

My cat is just stupid for fish too. The second I open the door with fish she's buzzing around me like a fly. Your cat scored big time. Mike

Jlabs63, no courage needed about bonito. Just bleed em and keep them cool and they'll good. I've eaten bonito BBQ-ed, smoked, seared, civeche, poki, even sushi.
I caught one yesterday and made a big batch of "tuna" salad. My wife and kids destroyed it. Mike
