Nice, I put a jelly squid over my weight and dangle an assist hook from it. Were you using a sabiki rod also, or a traditional rod?

Do you use your sibiki on a lightweight bait pole or a full size La Jolla rig? PS - I like your knife. Next time I have $54 to burn, I want to get one! Alas, too many other bills on my desk need tending to first

Nice fish right there!! I do like the bubba blade but I’m not a fan of using a rigid blade for filleting my halibut.

Bubba Blade is 15". Caught it on my favorite Graf Tech 10-20 lb rod with and old Calcutta 400s- classic set up.
