I believe this rig has 40lb PowerPro and as far as sinkers go I always use 8oz torpedos. This fish was caught in waters that were between 55 and 65 feet.

f I know I'm keeping the fish I'll give it a few whacks just to put it to sleep, it keeps them from flopping around and sends them nighty nighty after four hits to the head
