Keep in mind it sounds like the DSI transducer has to go in the water. Might want to go with the non-DSI model. Cheaper too.

Save a few more dollars and get the Lowrance Elite-4 Sonar/GPS Combo.

It'll come with a manual, and there's probably online video manuals as well.

If you can navigate through a computer, then you will figure this thing out pretty quickly (Elite 4). It's just a computer with folders and sub-folders. And just learn at your pace. You can always use it in fishfinder only mode so you can view it in full screen (until you get comfortable with it and decide to play with the GPS.
