if you have the money....tranX but if not then it depends on the size of your hands.....abu revo if you have large hands the shimano ej if you have medium to small hands. both are silky smooth casters

Curado seems like the safest bet with shimanos great service if the reel should fail.... But for some reason the Toro seems like a more beefy reel to me. All these great reels make buying complicated! Ha |

I had a big sandbass bass pull drag out of my Revo inshore and there is no way it has 24lbs of drag. Not a huge fan of my Revo, so if you decide you want one, mine is for sale. The Curado 200-300e are all nice, another reel you may think about that I love fishing out in the kelp is the Calcutta 400. If you use light braid with a top shot, then you could even use a Citica or Chronarch in the kelp. I throw my Cedros, Chronarch 200, Calcutta 400, and Curado 300 in the kelp. Another thing you can do as well is upgrade your bearings and drag discs.

1) Daiwa Luna 253 or 2) record 60 (high cap model).
I have both. Love them. Luna is heavier and more solid. Record is a bit lighter but plenty strong. I know some guys love bicycle parts ![]() ![]() ![]() Load with 50# spectra and top shot with 3-4' of flouro. you'll be happier than a pig in shit ![]() ![]()
