I personally don't risk it.
We have so much technology at our fingertips while fishing that if I don't know the species or regulation I can look it up on my phone within minutes. I've caught my share of non regulation fish and have never kept one. If I was strictly fishing to eat and survive I wouldn't have a choice but thank god I've never been put in that position. Why cheat at a sport that I spend alot of money on and time learning? I find no pride in that. When it gets down to it, I feel that if your going to risk it then why even bother buying a fishing license to begin with? Sorry if I sound like a dick but that's just my opinion. ![]() Mike |
