For the drain outlet hose I use a 1 1/8 thru plug forn west marine Home depot sells a pump hose to fit, and to block off the outlet use a tub/sink screen drain and secure with 3 stainless screw with a stainless nut for a spacer between screen and outlet, abut 3/16 thick nut shoud do.
The less water on my yack the better..

I got sick and tired of all the battery and wires corroding on using my bait tank. The only battery i use is on GPS on and a huge plastic cup to put fresh salt water in my bait tank every 10 mins or so.
