Are you allowed to launch from any beach in SD? Considering it's not crowded. Notice almost all launches are from la Jolla shores

If you want to hit the big water, most guys launch from La Jolla Shores. Follow Avenida De La Playa all the way down, and you can launch there. Surf is usually calm, and if the sand is in good condition, you can drive your car right on to the beach.
