I don't own either of them but have spent a decent amount of time on each. The revo is nice, simpler, and faster than the outback. However, stability of the outback is pretty solid. It has two extra molded rod holders and has more cargo room than the revo. I guess it all depends on what you like to do, and how long you like to be on the water
