Yeah, I know it sounds crazy but fish migrate from time to time because of water temps, they are spawning(having babies), following bait or they just happen to make the wrong turn and ended up in the harbor or 'open water'. It's kinda like you. Remember how you used to fish in the bay but now you fish in open water. Essentially, what this means is that you've migrated from the harbor to open water.
