Looks like a fun outing.
Love those glassy calm days.
I've had rods repaired at Just Fishing by Pete in Redondo.
Great work and reasonable prices.

Sav-On Tackle in Santa Fe Springs does that sort of repair. I'm actually planning to take my heavy bass rod in there today to see about having my rod-tip replaced; My insert is also cracked. I have the means of replacing my own guides, but I like that rod and I'd rather it look good when it's done! I'll let you know what they quote me.
