Billy V - Raw Bonito
1) Bring ICE on your kayak, maybe a soft ice chest in the hatch with 4
frozen water bottles
2) slice the bonito's gills as soon as you get it on the boat and hang the
fish upside-down by the tail for a few minutes till all the blood is gone
3) put immediately on ice
4) Fillet bonito, removing ALL of the bloodline "the red part" <-fishy

There is no logic to the color, just preference. Avid fishermen seem to
tend to lean toward earthtones "just in case it matters" ..... maybe.
I've never worried about sharks for a minute, nor thought the fish would
be more afraid of one color over another, they see a dark kayak
bottom regardless of color. Go with what looks good to you!!
