The Bubba blade put the size in perspective. Thats a nice fish!

Were the sabiki hooks wrapped around the fish when you got him to the yak?

I hate getting pricked by those little hooks when fish are flopping around.

Nice, I put a jelly squid over my weight and dangle an assist hook from it. Were you using a sabiki rod also, or a traditional rod?

Woot!

Do you use your sibiki on a lightweight bait pole or a full size La Jolla rig?

PS - I like your knife. Next time I have $54 to burn, I want to get one! Alas, too many other bills on my desk need tending to first

Nice fish right there!! I do like the bubba blade but I’m not a fan of using a rigid blade for filleting my halibut.
