Hey Dave,
I had a custom acid wrapped Calstar 970 that I tried. I did not like the long length of the rod itself on a yak, so I never really used it enough to really give you any input, and I never caught any fish on the thing either, but they are quite the rage I hear. ![]() |

Halibut fishing.......
The best application for acid wrapped rods from a kayak is bounce-balling for Halibut, and whatever else hits those things
