The dorsal fin was solid, not in 2 sections like the picture. Maybe it was a whitefish, but the fork was yellow and so was the dorsal fin. I am not an expert, but have caught yellows on the cattle boats. This one looked like a smaller version. Hope this description helps.

I will try to be careful with the fish ID's.
What's the best website for identification? This Mexfish site on the link above?
