I think yellow kayaks attract more sea lions. I had a yellow kayak for about two years and sea lions would steal bait from me often. I even hooked a sea lion. I switched to a green kayak and had it for over a year and I think I only lost one bait to a sea lion. Both colors catch fish.

I think it's the color on the water that matters, on your rack or in the store is just for show.

I got yellow for visibility, so I will be seen by boats.
