Weather did not cooperate, but Clay and I had a blast...

This was our first time actually fishing this thing, we came down last time when Dorado won it with a fat YT, and recalled LJ as the site. We came down to enjoy the comraderie.

Flat and glassy in the AM, chit soon changed. Clay and I left the casa @ 5 am in shorts and T's, and it was warm, sure changed after around 8:30.

Current was not nice, and the wind picked up. At least someone caught something, and a beauty to boot. Way to go Brian, nice

We decided to land in front of where we parked by the LG tower instead of trudging it from the launch to the parking lot by the LG tower. OK yes I'm lazy.

Got a little 'tourist info' from the LG of where to launch/land, played dumb...hehe

Great group of guys, we had a blast, great food. Much thanks to Kiyo and the entrants, we both had fun, you guys that made my boy feel part of the vibe, you know who you are, you only encourage him to participate more.

Yea Martin, good times too bad it was so cold and the weather sucked! Brian from Newport Beach won with a 40# WSB, very cool fish. That kid of yours really likes fishing I can tell! He seemed to be having a blast on the water even though it was a washing machine out there that day!
