I have both an SX and an MX. They are both great reels. The SX is my favorite.

SX Raptor!!! more drag than the standard sx and holds more line.

None of them...The Avet's are too fancy for the kayak. Use a Newell!

depends on what you want out of it.
Avet is awesome, doesn't do so well with constant kayak water damage. More of a boat reel though for me. Sx or Mx for live bait. Jx with 40# works good for yo yo. Wouldn't do it another way as far as avet. I think there are better reels for kayaking in general though. Not a bad choice, just more robust ones. Two speed is nice, but doesn't hold up well to salt damage.
