But, most of the time I do use them with the Hobie Rod extension inserts, just to keep the reel a little higher off the water, because the area where my rod holders are rides a little low in the water. So, now my question to any revo/outback guys is, are the rod holder depths different on different models? I've heard people complain about this lots, but it never has been an issue for me. I have an adventure, and my rod holder depth is 8". Lets just get the innuendo out on the the table now. How deep is your rod holder ![]() |

Just checked and the Outback and Outfitter have the 6 inch, Revo and Sport had 8"
