Larry, please tell us about the Big Rock launch option. I have not tried it. What about parking, surf, etc.

I don't know, Larry lives right down the street and walks his yak down and he knows that break inside and out. Big rock is an exposed break. I personally don't mind the extra paddle/pedal down south vs. launching on that stretch of beach.
Unfortunately for all of us, that new south La Jolla SMR will eliminate any gain of launching from that location vs. LJ shores. ![]() |
