I doubt this is a BS photo/post from the NorCal guys. I think their length estimate is off but Big Sur is super sharky and a big GW sighting is commonplace.
For Big Sur, I'll stick to the camping, nice vistas and outdoor  Here's a couple of sweet photos I found on that board.
