More info on that variable pipe outlet part and install would be cool when you update it.

Thanks. I updated the original post with the package. There's a few different tubes at Home Depot that can expand. The one I picked up in particular is an extension one, which has a couple of extra pieces. You can see all the pieces and how they fit as detailed in the back of the package.
