Hobies are for us old farts that have no upper body muscle mass. Guys with bad shoulders, no pecks, bad backs get Hobies.

indeed see you out there. funny thing i was fishing newport bay on a skiff by the bait barge and saw some youngins on some hobies. i asked myself how in the heck can these kids afford these things. hobie do look slick and all.

I also started on a Malibu, then got old with a bad back with no upper body muscle (but extra mass)....found a hobie outback love it...i played soccer in high school against Newport beach the parking lot was filled with BMW ,lexus, big trucks and other high end toys so a $2500 yak is nothing for some locals kids.

Im in HB so if your free lets go fishing...

you forget that you were in NEWPORT. lots of rich kids live out there and if they didn't buy it then mommy or daddy did. ever wonder how much those paddle boards cost? it blew my mind when i saw it

welcome to the yak club. i first bought a cobra marauder but the first time out with it i decided that i wanted a hobie after watching my buddy peddling while he fished and i was paddling and trying to fish.
