Get the toro 60, it has better drags and more line capacity and even more if you spool it w/ some spectra. I'm actually getting the toro 61 winch this week. I fish shimano for fresh water, but had some mechanical issues when it comes to salt water big game .

Have you considered any made in the USA? I love my Penn and Avet reels. We need the jobs!

Go Shimano. Their customer service is the best bar none. I took my Curado 200SF in for a major service. They replaced half the parts in the reel and only charged me $25. Had experiences like that many times over the last 15yrs.
