I think he just had his first kid and is still high from it...I on the other hand have 4 kids and the honeymoon is over, all that are left are honeydoo's.

As usual, great post and a beautiful fish.
After 30 years with Cal Fire I have to agree that there are similarities between landing yellowtail and delivering a baby; they are both slippery subjects.

I hope you let your photographer catch one too.

The only thing that needs a face-lift is that disgustlingly fat fish, explode upon filet knife. I've embraced my big fish lifting double-chin .

Nice feeeeeeeshies...what are they called again?

As far as comparing to newborns, maybe it's because they both have a blue tint to them....

Matt, I'm pretty sure hanging one of those requires actually getting out there...

BAAAAAAAAA! I was out there last week. Usually fishing my bayrunner now. I was out at the Nados the week before. I've been doing a lot of SD prefishing for the SDBB Tourny. Plus, I hate yo-yoing, I'd rather drink a beer.

Hey Andy! I still owe you a dinner.

Nice fish guys. I could see you two heading back while I was going out. I'm jealous because I work LJ until after sun down and only came up with wait might have been a giant squid. It let go before ID. I had a great time anyway.
It was like a lake but with whales breaking the surface 30 feet away!

We all know the miracle of birth. So keep stupid to yourself.

Just in case you were confused, this is a fishing forumn, where people actually enjoy living vicariously through others success on the water, myself included. I would encourage the masses to read through all of Screaming Reels posts, there is a strange common thread to them. A weird bitter feel, with a splash of PETA here and there. From your comments of disbanding the WCW, to asking questions of "where have all the White Seabass gone" (hire a guide), to calling people arrogant on posts that they didn't even catch a fish (huh?). Don't get me wrong, I've embraced the fact that this is "a public forumn in a free country". So feel free to spread your negitivity on perfectly good posts, as it's your American right.

I would reccomend switching to decaf, learning to read, then try to comprehend what you read before responding on public forumns, though. I certainly didn't compare the emotion I feel catching a Yellowtail to witnessing child birth...since catching them is part of my weekly routine (year round) . If fishing reports with a positive message, laying down a welcome mat to new kayakers on the water, and showing pictures of trophy Yellowtail bother you, don't read mine.

I agree. I love reading these posts of people catching trophy fish. It gets me fired up to go out and try. I also appreciate how helpful most people on this site are...Darkhorse and others have been super kind and helpful to me even though I am an LJ newbie

Yes Darkhorse, you are the man! Your right, I am not worthy to share my feelings about anything, apparently. Yes, I am dumb, uneducated, and I slept with the PETA president last night. I have never caught a WSB, or yellowtail for that matter. I have only caught bluegill in the pond back home. Oh yes, anger problem also. In fact when you become a guide I would like to hire you so I can learn how to fish, and maybe you can also educate me on being a productive member of our internet family. Also, you can help me with my obvious problem about thinking that a baby is not as important as a yellowtail. It was a bizarre analogy.

Dude, you are arrogant though. I have heard this from several people. Kinda got a chip on your shoulder. Actually a brick.

I got to say though, you sure can fish!

The bottom line is that I like breaking your balls, and others that seem to take this site so seriously, and to think they are a flippin expert on everything under the sun. I think it is pretty funny that everyone gets so fired up about a comment posted on the internet.

I promise, I will be better and I will not say anything that is not nice any more. I will now go put myself in time out.

I am so, so sorry.
