More Korean Gangjunchi
Hit the water yesterday after work. Covered a lot of water, got quite a few gangjunchi (river tarpon, more properly called predatory carp). Tried quite a few crankbaits, but the only ones that got bit were various Shad Raps. One hit as I ripped the lure backwards out of a snag, covered in fishing line and all?
Largest was 87cm, 3.5kg (little over 8lbs). All released. Saw one Korean deer, but didn't get a real clear picture. You can barely make out it's boar like tusks in the pic. Also, lot of flying mullet in this river as well. Phil |

More pics. The Chinese call these fish skygazer. Looking at them head-on, remind of of a borderline retarded fish.
